Grants and aids to finance your business website

Grants, digital vouchers, local schemes: an overview of what exists today and how I can help you turn funding into a real website.

France Num – National programme supporting the digital transformation of small businesses

I am a France Num activator

I am listed on the public France Num portal, launched by the French Directorate General for Enterprise (DGE) under the Ministry of Economy and Finance. My role is to help you move forward with your website project and point you towards the relevant schemes.

A powerful but little‑known lever: public funding

Many businesses know they could get “a grant” but do not know where to start. In practice, several schemes exist (State, regions, local authorities, chambers). To find those which apply to you by city, sector or company size, you can use the funding finder tool on France Num (close to 200 schemes). This page gives you an overview and explains when to involve a provider to turn funding into a working website.

Main schemes you should know

1

Regional digital vouchers

Many regions offer a “digital voucher” to help very small businesses go online. Typical examples:

SchemeAmountCovers
Digital voucher€500 to €1,500website, e‑commerce, SEO
Digital grant30% to 50%creation or redesign of a website
Digital transition passup to €2,000digital transformation

Usually managed by Regional Councils, Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CCI) and Chambers of Trades and Crafts (CMA).

Note: in most cases, you pay the provider first, then get reimbursed by the funding body.

2

Digital diagnostics (Bpifrance and similar programmes)

Programmes such as Bpifrance's digital diagnostics offer support from an expert and partial funding (up to around 50%). They can include website creation or redesign, digital marketing and business tools.

3

Local business support (often the most accessible)

Many inter‑municipalities and metropolitan areas fund digital projects (local commerce support, modernisation, EU funds). Organisations involved: EU, local authorities, chambers, etc. Typical amounts range from €500 to €3,000.

A quote to support your application

Whatever the scheme (digital voucher, diagnostic, local grant), you will usually need a clear quote to complete your application. I can provide a detailed quote for your website, which you can use with the funding body.

How to obtain these aids

Three steps to build your application and start your site once funding has been approved.

1

Use the funding finder tool on France Num and the websites of your region or local chambers of commerce to identify eligible schemes.

2

Check the eligibility criteria (sector, company size, location) and prepare the documents required by the funding body.

3

Once funding has been granted, contact me: I will build your website and provide the documents needed by the funder (quote, description).
